2025 Summer Camping Events on the Saco River
If your ideal summer includes campfires, tubing, s’mores, and sunset beach parties, you’re in for a treat. Camping along the Saco River in 2025 means being part of a season-long celebration filled with music, movies, friendly competitions, and riverside fun.
Whether you’re here for the weekend or staying for a full week, we’ve got something happening almost every day. From wildlife shows to live music and outdoor movie nights, this summer is packed with reasons to stay and play.

June Events: Kicking Off the Season
We’re starting the summer strong with a fun mix of daytime and evening activities for the whole family.
Saturday, June 14 brings a double feature. At 10:00 AM, meet some amazing animals during our Wildlife Encounters Show. That evening at 7:00 PM, it’s time for our first Beach Competition Night with games, music, and prizes.
Saturday, June 21 keeps the momentum going with another round of beach competitions.
On Wednesday, June 25, we launch our summer-long giving campaign, Paddle for a Cause. Every kayak, canoe, or tube rental helps support a local nonprofit.
Saturday, June 28 brings back Beach Competition Night once again, and we wrap up the month with Movie Night on Monday, June 30 at 7:00 PM.
July Weekly Fun
In July, the schedule fills up with regular weekly events that give campers something to look forward to every night.
Every Monday, we host Movie Night at 7:00 PM. Grab a blanket, bring your favorite snacks, and settle in for a family-friendly flick under the stars.
Wednesdays are all about giving back. Paddle for a Cause happens each week, with part of your rental going to a great cause. Whether you're tubing, kayaking, or paddling a canoe, your trip helps support local nonprofits.
Every Thursday at 6:00 PM, come enjoy s’mores and live music. It’s the perfect way to wind down after a day on the river.
Saturday evenings are all about beachside fun. At 7:00 PM, we host Beach Competition Night followed by live music from local bands. Please note there won’t be live music on July 19, but the games will still go on.
August Keeps the Fun Going
August continues the rhythm of weekly activities that make the Saco River campground feel like one big summer party.
Movie Nights happen every Monday evening.
Wednesdays continue with Paddle for a Cause, supporting more local organizations throughout the month.
Thursdays feature more s’mores and acoustic music by the campfire.
Saturday evenings bring more beach games and live music for campers to enjoy as the sun goes down.

Go Tubing
Tubing is one of the easiest and most relaxing ways to enjoy the Saco River. The current is gentle, the water is clear, and there are plenty of sandy beaches and rope swings along the way. It's fun for families, couples, and groups of friends.
Kayak or Canoe
